How you dey! Welcome to my Podia page. It's a real pleasure to meet you and I appreciate your willingness to support.
My name is Tayo Rockson, and I'm a Nigerian who grew up in Nigeria, Sweden, Burkina Faso, Vietnam and the United States. So 5 countries and 4 continents by the time I was 18. I spent the formative years of my life outside of my parents' culture making me what you’d call a Third Culture Kid or a TCK. My work is centered around diversity, equity, inclusion and cultural competency and it can be broken down into the following categories: writing, speaking, consulting, coaching, teaching, and producing media content.
As a writer, my goal is to help people find themselves in the stories I tell so I regularly put out content based on my research on identity and cross-cultural communications. Some of my work has been featured on various media sites including Forbes
, Huffington Post
. In addition to that, I became a published author in 2019 with the release of my first book, Use Your Difference To Make A Difference
As a speaker, I speak, lead trainings and workshops at conferences, companies and education institutions on different ways to create more inclusive environments and combat bias. Some of the places I have been lucky to speak at include, The United Nations
, TEDx three times
, and Chautauqua Institution
As a consultant, I work with companies on implementing effective diversity, equity and inclusion strategies.
As a coach and teacher, I work with change-makers who want to develop their voices as speakers and consultants.
As a media personality, I regularly host the As Told By Nomads podcast
to tell the untold stories of the hidden heroes amongst us.
Feel free to select whichever tier applies to you below. If you prefer to make one time payments, you can do so on PayPal

I am looking forward to helping you develop careers and lifestyles that explore issues around identity, race, gender, diversity, equity, and inclusion on a daily basis. This collective will have courses on cultural competency, prompts and templates to use when having cross-cultural conversations. My hope is that we will embark on a journey that helps us dismantle the systems of oppression around us. We will cry, laugh, make mistakes and support each other but more importantly, we will learn how to use our differences to make a difference.
